To you, Paris.<\/strong><\/p>

A black and white by Brassai and Preverts pen.<\/p>

Enough to make my pencil glide over my sketchbook.<\/p>

To you, Paris.<\/p>

The pages flow, the body takes shape, and the story begins.<\/p>

Paris at night.<\/p>

Leafless trees, bronze sculptures, alive.<\/p>

A shoulder, very square, a sleeve, very straight.<\/p>

The pavement is gleaming, footsteps echo.<\/p>

A black suit, half tuxedo.<\/p>

Some black tailored dresses, always black and androgynous, with organza cutouts. Mysterious Paris.<\/p>

Hidden Paris.<\/p>

Long hooded coat in black velvet and satin, bare chest, adorned with sapphires.<\/p>

I cover, uncover, forbidden things.<\/p>

Windows of light. Brassai captures intimacy.<\/p>

The dresses are cut out, dancing.<\/p>

Insolent.<\/p>

A gazar scarf wrapped around a bare chest, covering the breasts.<\/p>

The black chiffon skirt flows like the Seine at twilight.<\/p>

Diamonds are bright headlights in the fog.<\/p>

Movements! Soaring! Paris stirs! A party!<\/p>

Private. Always.<\/p>

A white wrap stole clipped with two jonquil diamond brooches. Low black crepe skirt. Evening pyjamas, kimonos, and caftans embroidered over transparent organza pants. Long ink-sequined tunic dress embroidered with white porcelain cubism.<\/p>

Diamond jacket over long black knit dress and a rain of feathers... or feathers of rain. The birds of Prevert, again.<\/p>

Incredible giant black satin collar from which the body escapes, a shoulder, an arm, a breast. I am as I am.<\/p>

I am made like this.<\/p>

When I want to laugh<\/p>

Yes, I laugh out loud.<\/p>

Long black crepe backless sheath embroidered with silver and giant satin white Arum flower. I am made to please.<\/p>

And cant change anything...<\/p>

My heels are too high.<\/p>

And my waist too curved.<\/p>

I read Prevert and my hand loosens.<\/p>

Corolla bodice,<\/p>

Bubble jacket,<\/p>

Circles, lines in the air, the pen glides. Takes flight.<\/p>

Knit dresses with cutouts and sparkling skirts that propel,<\/p>

wing beats of a black bird.<\/p>

The quays.<\/p>

Paris illuminated<\/p>

Paris shines,<\/p>

Paris enamoured.<\/p>

Voila, my winter collection: black, pure essence, ink-stained whites, drawn as one writes, under the distant gaze of two poets.<\/p>
