NEW TALES: As communication, branding and marketing initiatives become increasingly layered, three professionals are using their expertise in the fashion, luxury goods, and lifestyle segments to launch Tales of Wonder.
Billed as a collective and based in Milan, Tales of Wonder was founded by creative consultant Carolina Neri, who has worked with brands from T Magazine, Vogue Gioiello, Swarovski, Tod’s , Rene’ Caovilla and amfAR; Vera Bosisio, who has more than 20 years of experience in fashion public relations and communications, working with the likes of Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Sergio Rossi and Casadei, and Alessandra Ilari, senior copywriter and former W and WWD Milan bureau chief, who has been active as a content and tone-of-voice creator for brands including Gucci, Valentino, Fendi, Antonia Milano, Weekend Max Mara, Tod’s, Gianvito Rossi, Pomellato and Bulgari.
Tales of Wonder works with a network of experts and “stands out from traditional agencies by embracing a unique approach that like a mosaic combines specific tassels of each professional within their area of expertise for a customized lens” in branding and creative direction, storytelling, content and PR, communication and events, said Ilari.

As reported, there have been several changes in traditional fashion PR. Most recently, Gucci and Louis Vuitton public relations veteran Benjamin Cercio went solo with the launch of Bencercio and, in September, former Karla Otto executive Julien Dufour opened his agency Spread the Word in Paris and London, while last year, former Givenchy and Louis Vuitton director Youssef Marquis set up his namesake agency Marquis.
