Kim Petras is teaming up with Ed Hardy once again, this time to revive the indie sleaze aesthetic. The collection marks the “Unholy” singer’s second collaboration with Ed Hardy, presenting a capsule collection that blends throwback hipster style with a modern twist.
Designed by Petras herself, the collection embraces 2000s nostalgia and features 12 distinct pieces. The drop includes a leather jacket, two of Ed Hardy’s signature trucker hats, along with a fresh take on tube tops, short sets and cropped tank tops.
The campaign imagery, shot by nightlife photographer The Cobrasnake — who is known for capturing the raw energy of the early 2000s indie rock shows in New York City — features Petras modeling alongside classic Ed Hardy inflatable characters like Famous Skunk, Bulldog and Good Pussy Cat, cementing the collection’s commitment to the indie sleaze resurgence. The capsule will be available on Ed Hardy’s website on Tuesday, with retail stores following soon after.

The indie sleaze aesthetic, characterized by a mix of DIY style, grunge elements and bold graphics, was popularized by designers like Anna Sui and Hedi Slimane during the early 2000s. Their work, particularly at brands like Sui’s eponymous label and Slimane’s collections at Saint Laurent, helped define the era’s gritty, carefree style — an influence clearly seen in Petras’ collaboration with Ed Hardy.
Petras’ first partnership with the brand was for its spring 2024 collection, launched alongside her “Slut Pop Miami” album. She has also been expanding her influence in the beauty world, recently becoming the newest global ambassador for MAC Cosmetics during Pride Month. Petras starred in the brand’s 30th-anniversary campaign for the MAC Viva Glam initiative alongside Latin pop star Danna Paola.
While her presence in the fashion and beauty spheres continues to grow, Petras remains busy with her music career. She is currently working on new material, in addition to collaborating on Katy Perry’s latest single “Gorgeous” and appearing on SOPHIE’s posthumous album. Most recently, Petras teamed up with The Chainsmokers for their latest single and video, “Don’t Lie.”
