Debbie Wingham, known to many as Diamond Debbie, is starting the new year off with a bang! Episode 3 of her show on Gossip Stone TV will once again live up to its title for covering everything The Most Expensive.

Although much of her illustrious career has kept her projects closely guarded until reveal date due to client demand, her TV show The Most Expensive pulls back the curtain on her life shedding light on her process and the difficulties that come up along the way.

This coming episode’s Most Expensive artwork was created for a millionairess who wanted to depict her year in art to remember her journey and support her positive mind set.

Wingham explains: “This was a unique commission for me as this piece needed to balance the perfect synergy of the anxieties of waving farewell to a year of steady growth, and the excitement and freedom of everything a new year brings.”

She chose to use the client’s diamond and precious stone collection, which were mostly repurposed into creating butterflies, symbols of freedom, beauty, and strength.

Much of the diamond embellishments came from the client’s late great-grandmother, so every aspect of this creation had to be honored and embody an emotional journey.

The silhouette of the piece had evolved from Wingham’s Drip Collection, which launched a little over a year ago, first with a solid gold Birkin-inspired bag valued at USD 1 million, created for a client in Abu Dhabi.

The new year’s masterpiece took the philosophy of the Drip Collection and merged it with Wingham’s love for Salvador Dali, whose surrealist melting clocks became synonymous with his work. The new time piece installation is like a more contemporary Dali, fused with the contours of a Rolex-type watch. Debbie has a penchant for using modern day status symbols and fashion, her first love.

The other artistic elements include an oil painted design within the diamond bezel. The painting of a vanishing face which merges into escalators evoking the sense of moving towards something. In this instance: the approach to the new year.

This realistic scene is monochromatic which gives an element of serious soul searching, but the colorful diamond butterflies cascading throughout give it a sense of optimism.

Merging 2D and 3D gives the art piece a multimedia edge and then the addition of over 15,000 pointer diamonds giving subtle sparkle to the silhouette of the Rolex-reminiscent time piece. The largest diamond is a pink flawless cut, 3 carats in size, with a value of USD 1.5 million.

This masterpiece is amazing from any angle, a full 360-degree marvel!  It is finished in platinum paint which was created by a jeweler in New York City especially for Wingham.

Known for her pursuits of unique one-of-a-kind materials and finishes, the Drippy Watch was curated from carbon fiber and in the end adorned with more than USD 2.2 million dollars in diamonds. The piece was launched at Raffles Dubai before being delivered to the client.

As we mentioned, much of Wingham’s work never sees the light of day because her clients often want it that way.  However, this specific client, who prefers to remain anonymous, wanted to share her art piece with others who are on a journey of growth and reflection.

Raffles Dubai was selected as the exclusive location because it is also in keeping with The Tale of Timeless Luxury. 10 years ago, almost to the day, Wingham embarked on her first showcase in Raffles Dubai with her famous black diamond dress, the very dress that changed her life.

Afif Salibi, General Manager at Raffles Dubai said: “We are pleased to partner with Debbie Wingham, a local based renowned artist. Showcasing her exquisite timepiece will be a special addition to the experience of our guests and visitors alike.”

So, for those in Dubai they can drop into Raffles and experience it for themselves.  The viewers of the show, however, can see the installation of the masterpiece in detail and hope that these diamond-drenched drip pieces can be seen in person in their own towns.

Debbie Wingham is known by many names, from ‘Queen of the World’s Most Expensive’ to ‘The Countess of Confection’, a name given to her by the Food Network several years ago. Debbie is now the host and producer of the show The Most Expensive on Gossip Stone TV, where she carries on her tradition of creating extraordinary confections!

Although Debbie is still ranked in the top 10 cake artists in the world, it’s been a few years since she created a giant cake or edible installation. When the pandemic hit, she had a cake schedule which was fully booked for 2 years in advance, filled mostly with lavish cake people figures or ‘cakelikes’, as she likes to call artistic creations resembling cakes.

Her edible installations were in high demand in different parts of the world. It was normal for Wingham to go from Los Angeles to Dubai to Paris and back to Los Angeles within the space of a month, all on cake missions for high profile clients. Most of these were filmed for television, covering the trials and tribulations of creating humongous cakes, with the average cake taking 7 days to make, working out of unknown kitchens on the road without even having the right tools on hand, not something that a logical business owner would even consider. Her cakes included the million-dollar bride cake created for Bride Dubai, which went viral.

Now, after two years hiatus from creating amazing confections, Debbie is back in the kitchen, and Gossip Stone TV will proudly feature her triumphant return on The Most Expensive show! 

Her latest Gossip Stone TV episode of The Most Expensive showcases her dipping her finger back in the sugar pot, this time on a much smaller scale than usual. Although not one for small-tiered cakes, and having more gigantic confection ideas in store, this particular client was super high profile and not one that Debbie could turn down.

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, whose president is the Crown Prince of Dubai, caught wind that Wingham was in town and reached out to her to commission a cake for National day, which is a celebration across the UAE, where the flags are proudly displayed and this historical day comes with many traditions including poetry readings, grand fire work displays and gatherings.

With only two days to create the cake and under pressure to maintain her high standards, Debbie enlisted the help of her pastry guardian angel Romain Castet of Bijou Patisserie, a well-known pastry chef in the middle east and internationally.

The cake featured a light show with flag details, answering the theme of child and family fun with traditional elements that embody the UAE. In the end the cake was a big success and Wingham was given a real gold award for creating the beautiful center piece for the national day event.

So far, Debbie’s $75 million USD cake still stands as the most expensive cake in the world. Her other cake works of art include a Kim Kardashian cake featuring the queen of pop culture’s famous assets carved from cake and even a cake of the late great Karl Lagerfeld.

In the second episode Wingham reminisces about some of her gravity-defying cake disasters, including a cake she had to wheel down the street in a supermarket cart because her delivery company left her in a bit of a pickle and about the Karl Lagerfeld cake having to be laid on its back due to being too tall to stand up right in the delivery truck.

Hello Dubai, long awaited new episode of The Most Expensive for Christmas is coming December 31st

The Wingham name is synonymous with Christmas, but so far, we still don’t know what traditions they go in for in the Wingham household.

Is everything diamond encrusted?

Apparently not! We were delighted to find out that the slightly dysfunctional Wingham family has a tradition called ‘crap wrap’, a super-secret wrapping technique that Mrs. Wingham usually falls victim to, the main culprit being Damian, her husband. 

Crap wrap consists of presents wrapped with tons of cellophane wrap and not a lot of regard for aesthetics.

Judging by her recent Christmas photos on Instagram, this so-called ‘crap wrapping’ must be hidden behind the nice designer gifts, unless her cute Chihuahua Luca is hiding them of course.  We will all learn more when we tune into Episode 2 of The Most Expensive.

So far, the private life of the Wingham family has been exactly that, private, but since embarking on her new Gossip Stone TV series she has revealed many secrets about her creations and family life.

This family sure do have a lot of character, from their fur babies Luca and Cavalli, to their sweet daughter Scarlett.

To the surprise of many, however, Debbie Wingham’s husband Damian is rapidly becoming one of the heroes of the show, mostly due to his melancholy approach to Christmas that will have you laughing your festive socks off!

In Episode 2 of The Most Expensive we also find out about the Queen of Christmas luxury. 

Don’t forget Wingham earned her way on to Santa’s nice list by filling the stockings of every millionaire within reach. Her sleigh is more of a private jet though.

In 2019 she practically broke the internet with the world’s most expensive Christmas tree, which was showcased at Kempinski in Marbella, Spain. It was valued at $15 million USD and was adorned with diamond ornaments created from ‘eco luxury’ goods, otherwise known as repurposed luxury, consisting of Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Van Cleef and Arpels.

In 2020, Wingham also created a toy soldier fashioned from eco luxury goods, it was created for a Russian couple marking their babies’ first Christmas and was valued at a quarter of a million USD.

And in 2021, Wingham created the world’s most expensive advent calendar, a calendar which marked the 12 days of Christmas all based on destinations that a lucky family would visit that coming year, with luxury trinkets in each window referencing that location as a hint, with a value of $10 million USD.

2022 is the first year when Wingham didn’t create a diamond encrusted festive masterpiece, and we asked her why. She said that the best was yet to come, and her latest festive project will take more than 12 months to create and will be revealed in 2023. She also went on to reveal quite mysteriously that she is starting 2023 with some added sparkle. We wonder if that means yet another world’s most expensive masterpiece.

Coined the Queen of the Most Expensive by the tabloids, Debbie Wingham finally embraces her crown by taking on the role as the host of Gossip Stone’s latest series, “The Most Expensive”.

There is no shortage of glamor on the series, which launched last week on Gossip Stone TV on Apple TV, Roku TV, and Amazon Fire TV, all with a reach of over 150 Million.

The show follows the life of the very grounded Debbie Wingham, known in elite circles as Diamond Debbie. Her lofty artworld and social standing is in shocking contrast from her origin story and makes her casual humility that much more surprising and heartfelt.

She is an actual coal miner’s daughter, and in the first episode we get to meet her immediate family.

A cute Mini-me following in her mom’s footsteps is Scarlett Wingham, age 11, sewing outfits for her Chihuahuas Luca and Cavalli and baking, and her husband Damian, in Debbie’s own words the long suffering Mr. Wingham. Mainly accustomed to the bold and extremely challenging activations she embarks on that have added up to quarter of a billion dollars’ worth of world’s most expensive, no less.

As it happens, Bling Dubai, a new Netflix show also produced in Dubai, hit the media this week for over embellishing its millionaire cast, yet it’s quite clear that Wingham, a self-made millionairess, is taking a slightly more approachable route to fame in the media.

Don’t get us wrong, Debbie certainly has some diva-licious tendencies, and thus far we have been left waiting for episode 2 with much speculation and anticipation of the numerous things she will be curating throughout the series, including a giant Birkin inspired Drip Bag.

We are all eager to see what she crafts next! She is no stranger to larger-than-life installations, whether they be edible, drenched in diamonds or solid gold.

Each episode will show a mini story about Debbie’s next creation, which will be revealed in the season finale like a puzzle coming together and will make for her 14th world’s most expensive creation.

There were plenty of dazzling wardrobe choices! The self-proclaimed fashionista certainly has a few top-tier Bvlgari and Cartier diamond pieces, along with some incredible time pieces, a collection of watches worth just shy of 4 million dollars. (She likes to live up to show title!)

But there is so much more! 40 million euros worth of Ferraris, Diamond Doggy attire and diamond encrusted Bentleys.

Stay tuned for some Real Housewives-like drama as well, however, as friction is bound to build up when time pressure and client expectations start to grate on our cast of stars. The trials and tribulations of a million-dollar maker, known to be a perfectionist is bound to yield a few tantrums. Who knows, maybe the outspoken hubby will bring a bit of sass to the series as well! 

The finale of the first episode saw a farewell to the Wingham home in Marbella, and the announcement of their imminent move to Dubai.

In Wingham’s own words “Dubai is my muse, if you can dream it, in Dubai they can make it, and that’s probably why I feel at home there.”

Debbie Wingham, the star of The Most Expensive reality TV show is announcing first episode release on Gossip Stone TV November 6

Diamond Debbie is a couturier and international artist with a Hollywood client list and more than 2 million followers who love her inspiring and glamorous life. It’s a title hard won, though. A coal miner’s daughter brought up on a council estate in South Yorkshire (what Americans call ‘the projects’), she left school with few qualifications due to her dyslexia.

“When asked what I wanted to be when I was older, ‘the world’s most expensive artist’ didn’t really spring to mind!” she says drily. “I thrived on needle work and art, but the rest weren’t up too much. But I always had drive and an incredible work ethic. I knew I was going to move to London and take over the fashion world. How I would do that I had no clue, but I never have been into the word ‘no’. It just doesn’t enter my vocabulary!”

She had no means to fund her own fashion business or barely even buy fabric, let alone move to London, but that didn’t stop her, and the gutsy teenager moved to the capital the moment she turned 18.

Standing at six feet, Debbie followed the path of many tall young women in the early 2000s and turned to promotional work. A typical day would see her work as a Mercedes model by day and a Dunhill girl by night. In between shifts she did a whole lot of sewing and not much else.

“I prioritised fabric shopping over food and lived on champagne and canapes from all the fabulous events I was invited to, almost like a socialite but minus the trust fund! They were a great way to network and get fed and hydrated,” she says.

The work, though gruelling, enabled her to buy fabrics and soon she was trading at London markets before opening a third-floor store on King’s Road. Debbie soon realised she had a flair for couture gowns, after a fashion critic admired her first frock. Her signature style was ethereal, graceful, and timeless gowns designed to look great today, tomorrow, and in ten years’ time.

Her days involved a lot of heartache and having door after door close in her face. Much of the rejection derived from the snobbery in the industry.

People would say things like, ‘your work shows potential, but your accent doesn’t belong in Haute Couture’ referencing my Yorkshire accent.”

“One particular fashion editor told me I was going nowhere fast the minute I opened my mouth. Some years later this same editor asked to wear one of my dresses to a red-carpet event. I replied, ‘but darling, you don’t want to wear a frock made by someone from Yorkshire do ya?’”

Debbie moved to LA and started to gain celebrity attention, not least through a collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels, who loaned a quarter of a million dollars’ worth of jewels for a fashion show at the highbrow Chateau Marmot. It was also around this time that Wingham began working with salvaged fabric. She scoured thrift stores and revamped vintage clothes, something she still does today.

Although her show garnered her a lot of publicity, the sales didn’t follow and she lived off tinned food, often having to choose between buying fabric or paying the rent. On a trip to the UK to rethink her life she met her now husband Damian. They settled down and yes, she made her own wedding dress.

Soon after they got married a daughter arrived, a younger sister for his two beautiful girls. This stability, coupled with a new clarity that motherhood brought, led to her lightbulb moment ten years ago – to design the world’s most expensive frock – the Black Diamond Dress. 

Again, it didn’t come easy. It took a whole year to find a company that would loan her the diamonds. “Then I had to get round the security side of a creation like this. It was extremely time consuming and very expensive.

The World’s Most Expensive Dress was a huge success and soon went viral. Clients started commissioning designs and she created a series of ‘World’s Most Expensive’ items, including the ultimate upcycle project, a 6.7 million dollar bag made from reworked gold and diamonds, a pair of 15.1 million dollar shoes, and advent calendar priced at a whopping 11 million dollars and a this is the tip of the iceberg.

Her cakes, including the million-dollar wedding cake, are legendary and she has designed them for celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Drake, and Justin Bieber.

Having swapped fabric for fondant, Debbie now took another creative direction in 2020 when the Covid pandemic hit. She tried her hand in fine art and hit the headlines once more as she continues to evolve.

Her latest TV series will be the first time she ever opened the doors into her private life. The show is called The Most Expensive and it airs on the Gossip Stone TV channel on Amazon Fire TV, Roku TV, and Apple TV with the first episode on November 6.

It may look like she lives a blessed life but when you tune in, don’t forget that this Yorkshire Lass worked for everything she has. It didn’t happen by chance; it came with hard work and rejection, and it was an uphill struggle.

This novel approach to painting came about from her earlier oil paintings that Wingham created during the COVID period. Until then, while Wingham was a one-woman fabric-to-fondant master, she hadn’t dabbled in painting much, not on canvas anyway. “Creativity is my superpower, and sculpting lifelike cakes is the same hand as painting or indeed as designing and making gowns,” Wingham said, “During covid I had a lot of time on my hands and got into oil painting. I did a series of my interpretations of some of the greatest artists that ever lived, including French impressionist Boucher, Monet, Manet, and Fragonard. I created a money mantra remaster to the Rococo style concepts, adding modern day symbols of status and wealth, something I guess I’m world renowned for. Like all my art pieces, there is always an element of sarcasm and a hint of humor present.”

Recently Wingham revealed several of her ‘pandemic period’ works with world-renowned art critics to receive feedback. They loved the hidden meaning and attention to detail, but it called the finish too perfectionist, too flawless, for the modern art market, which has become somewhat juvenile in recent years. It was suggested to add a hint of Street art to sass up the pieces. With that in mind Wingham knew that she had to come up with something different than what Banksy, Alec Monopoly and Mr. Brainwashes of the world were doing, so she had the thought to merge not only the Drip series sculptures into her paintings but also her pedigree as a cake artist.

Using gold and platinum leaf, piping bags and palette knives to deface her own flawless master pieces, she created a new series – Vandalized Oils. These new pieces are also ornately framed with a sense of sabotage and splashes of fluorescent colors. Wingham insisted it was not all about Ransacking her originals. Despite the critics’ feedback, she is firm in her belief that nothing can be too flawless. Thus, her other work will retain the immaculate finish Wingham has come to be known for in all mediums.

People often mistake Debbie Wingham for a rich kid, born with a silver spoon in her mouth. That is far from the truth, as she is the daughter of a coal miner and made it in the luxury sector against all odds. Although Wingham thinks her equivalence to royalty is laughable, she is the media’s darling and is referred to as The Queen or Countess on a regular basis.

Debbie’s latest original oil was a breath-taking portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II. She had painted it to commemorate the queen’s 70-year Platinum Jubilee. Considering the recent situation, Debbie is planning to donate the painting to one of Her Majesty’s favorite public causes. Initially Wingham had hoped to get this painting in front of the late great Queen Elizabeth II, but since that dream can no longer be realized, a charitable donation is a better fit, Wingham added. She often extends her support to good causes to help those less fortunate than her. Philanthropist and mother with an appetite for success. Back to the Royal story – Olga Thomas, the Royal composer, has had a lifelong admiration and passion for the Royal family. Some years ago, the charity Cruse Bereavement Support began a unique music program, a tradition to give their patron, Her Majesty the Queen, special gifts of music composed by Olga to commemorate the important events in the life of the Royal Household. Since then, she has composed an impressive 15 pieces and has been lucky enough on three occasions to meet the Queen.

For the first time, Olga Thomas is delighted to bring together all her Royal compositions into one album release, which is titled Royal Platinum Jubilee Celebration with Olga Thomas. It is a true celebration of the Queen’s lifelong dedication and life’s work as a Monarch.

The album includes Cruse’s anthem ‘Restoring Hope’, ‘Themes of Life and Glory’, a tribute to The Queen Mother, ‘Royal Wedding (Celebration)’, an orchestral piece written to mark the marriage of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Other pieces include the anthem ‘Jubilation’ for the Diamond Jubilee, performed by Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Band Portsmouth (Royal Band) and Wynne Evans on vocals. They have also recorded ‘Royal Lullaby’, a gift for Prince George as well as ‘Lullaby for Princess Charlotte’ featuring British Soprano Emily Haig.

Also included are Thank You Very March (I and II), Tribute and Regent’s University London Theme, all arranged and performed by the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth (Royal Band). Another stunning track on the album is ‘By My Side’ featuring Number One classical crossover soprano Joanna Forest, which reached No 1 in the Classical Charts.

The Album also features ‘Royal Platinum Love Song’ which also reached number One in the Classical Charts and again features Joanna Forest along with Australian tenor and West End sensation Daniel Koek. ‘Royal Hollywood Love Song’ was another beautiful piece, released for the wedding of Prince Harry and MeghanMarkle, this track was produced by Robert Emery and featured a 72-piece live orchestra, a true cinematic masterpiece!

Olga’s latest release The Four British Nations went straight to Number One last month in the classical iTunes chart. The single was commissioned by The British Monarchists Society and was part of a double single release specifically to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It featured British Soprano Lesley Garrett, Baritone Rodney Earl Clarke as well as the London Community Gospel Choir. All of these amazing songs are on this magnificent album and all released together for the first time, in what is a fitting tribute to Her Majesty the Queen.

The Most Expensive… is a reality TV show hosted by the legendary artist and star from Great Britain, Debbie Wingham. She is the undisputed Queen of everything that is The Most Expensive. Kim is iconic in the fashion world and is no Newbie to being drenched in diamonds. She is regularly conceptualised in numerous art forms, whether its people replicating her makeup or imitating her style or designers that crown Kim their Muse.

British Artist and Designer Debbie Wingham also choose Kim K as the main focal point of her current works. The million-euro mural which is 40ft long, launched a month ago in Puerto Banus, Spain, has been given a diamond makeover worthy of a Kardashian!

The mural still embodied many of the original features including a huge graffiti wall featuring an adaption on the world renowned Las Vegas sign along with  nautical undertones, which reference the marina location, pop culture including the Beatles and everything you can think of that is associated with the jet set lifestyle which includes Rolex watches, Cartier, NFT’s and a special emphasis on super cars featuring an almost Lifesize billionaires’ toy, a LaFerrari with a series of the poshest pooches, referencing the incredible super cars at Puerto Banus but also all the beloved port side pets rocking real diamond collars.

Debbie is world renowned with power brands but also loves to curate grand installations with emerging luxury brands. In this instance she found an incredible stockist of hand-crafted dog collars from The Luxury Dog Shop in Sweden who pride themselves on fair trade, exceptional quality dog collars and leads, also available with diamonds. Other emerging creatives included in the mural are eco luxe handbag brand Pallavicini Galizia who take vintage designer materials and repurpose them into haute couture handbags and Chic back who created a fashion meets functionality fashion accessory which is basically like jewelry that adorns your back whilst giving you the support of a bra. 

Wingham even enlisted help from a fellow artist to do some of the more abstract painting for the mural because her style is more realism, so Brazilian artist Nadja Rossato created a number of the abstract faces for the graffiti side of the mural. 

When asked why Wingham insists on working with emerging talent instead of just the top tier brands she said – “It was only a short while ago that I was an emerging creative, hoping that someone gave me a chance and I knew that one day when I was in a position of power, I wouldn’t forget fellow creatives that deserved to be seen, therefore I always include innovative brands, especially environmental ones, I am the queen of luxury upcycling myself and I hate to see anything beautiful go to waste”. The makeover of the mural was to mark the 10-year anniversary of Wingham’s world famous dress, the one that shot her to fame.

The world-renowned black diamond dress valued at a whopping 3.5 million GBP. Wingham knew that the black diamond mural makeover had to live up to that same criterion. The mural remaster wasn’t just all diamonds it involved a style makeover and who better to represent style than the biggest fashion icon in the whole world Kim K.

An incredible life-like Kim K rocking her very own world’s most expensive dress, the Marilyn Monroe dress that she wore to the MET Gala just over a month ago.

Wingham said – “I wanted some uber relevant fashion statements and the fact that the Monroe dress had the title of one of the world’s most expensive dresses alongside mine made the perfect synergy and when you think of fashion icons, no one beats Kim in the style stakes”. Wingham also conducted an impromptu poll on the street of Marbella where the mural is located, asking whose photo people would most like to see on a mural from the whole world? Kim K was high on the list with an overwhelming 79% of votes.

The mural makeover also featured jewellery, pop art, Dogue a doggy Vogue and a simplistic graffiti vibe featuring diamonds, crowns and lips.On the launch night of the mural makeover Wingham kept the diamond vibes alive by gifting a diamond ring from London-based brand Raine to a lucky guest, the winner was determined by picking the correct key to fit a lock.

The other stars of the showcase alongside Kim K were the illustrated silhouettes which have become one of the main focal points of Wingham’s diamond mural, they also got dressed up for the occasion, specially the one next to the Ferrari which was dressed in a digital render of the black diamond dress, and real diamonds were cascading down the digital rendered gown where it laces up at the back to the tune of 1 million euros.

The diamonds were present just for one day for security reasons, but the Kim K fashion extravaganza will remain on the mural for the whole of summer so that people from around the globe will be able to capture a selfie with the Queen of pop culture herself Kim K.The image of Kim was created from an original painting Wingham created, a hyper realistic depiction of Kim’s famous curves and that perfectly contoured face. In order to withstand the sweltering Spanish heat, all the originals were photographed and digitally rendered onto the mural.

Along with all the original artworks from the mural which are to be auctioned off for various charities, The original of Kim K is set to be sent to Kim’s chosen charity Represent Justice which is an LA non-profit charity that fights for a fair legal system and to end to extreme sentencing.  A cause close to Kim’s heart which was recently showcased on The Kardashians series on Hulu.

The mural will be on display in the heart of Puerto Banus until mid-August as a hot spot of social media fans who are on the search for the perfect click.

When asked what her plans were for the future, Wingham shared how she is delighted to announce that she will be launching her new TV show “The Most Expensive…” on Gossip Stone TV in its upcoming public release this Summer.
