Naturalizer is teaming up with New York-based handbag brand Think Royln on a limited-edition collection of all-weather footwear and sling bags.
Founded by best friends and entrepreneurs Pattie Friedman and Kristin Wielenga, Think Royln co-created a sporty five-style collection, dubbed the Ultimate Puffer capsule, that includes two boots, one sneaker and two sling bags.
The boot range includes a flat zip-front ankle bootie and a standout heeled boot with a removable leg warmer. Each shoe in the collection is made with water-repellent fabric, chill-proof with insulated, breathable lining and features sturdy soles. The collection ranges in price from $158 to $285.
“When we approached this capsule, we focused on what we want in footwear from a style and function perspective,” Friedman said in a statement. “The design details, like quilting, pockets, zippers, are organic to the Think Royln DNA, and the collection had to have versatility. We appreciate a woman’s desire to style herself her way, so the designs allow you to ‘wear it your way.’”

Naturalizer’s senior vice president of product design Angelique Joseph added, “Pattie and Kristin’s vision for high style and high function for women conquering it all is perfectly aligned with our mission to empower women through comfortable and fashionable footwear.”
The new collection is part of the Caleres-owned footwear brand’s Gen N Project, a series of partnerships with women and brands inspiring the future with their actions to advance the ideals of comfort for women.
Naturalizer kicked off the Gen N Project in March with a partnership with Deepica Mutyala, founder and chief executive officer of the inclusive beauty brand Live Tinted. The debut capsule included a collection of slides called Illuminate. Mutyala helped develop the line and appeared in the accompanying ad campaign along with entrepreneur and journalist Lauren Chan and body positivity activist Khrystana.
In August, the footwear brand launched a new ambassador collective with the mission to “amplify Naturalizer’s female-first vision and to generate meaningful and deep conversations around advancing inclusivity in fashion.”
The collective debuted with two founding members — Mutyala and Chan. At the time of the launch, the company said that Mutyala and Chan will bring this new narrative forward through a digital campaign and event series that will unfold over the next 12 months. Both women, and future additions to the collective, are meant to represent “authentic champions of inclusivity,” the company added.
